Security is important, and so are the lessons of disinformation... elsewhere people noted the human bias introduced into DeepSeek for Chinese political correctness. This must be done to operate in China, so there is no surprise. BUT it can be weaponized in the same way that TikTok is imagined to be... and it comes down to proactivity or reaction. In security, reaction is too late.

But we don't have to use DeepSeek. We should give them their praise as they've scrapped and done things from which we all can learn... AND THEY SHARED IT! We can turn anything into a bad... I think we should approach with principled concerns, but otherwise stay openminded to learn...
