There is no question that we have siloed expertise at the expense of accessibility to information needed to run business (the ultimate goal of app and service implementation). This needs to change...
BUT ... change doesn't obviate the need of people, it directs them toward more effective leveraging of talents.
On one hand, you state what we all know but haven't said aloud. On another hand, perhaps we don't give it the weight we should ...
